History
How everything started...
The enthusiasm for motorsport stood at the beginning of the successful development of the family company in the southern badenian city of Weil am Rhein. Eckart Wössner achieved in the 70ties as a national driver on motorbikes up to 500 ccm several wins and is well know as an engaged and fair driver in motorsports.
From 1979 to 1995 the Wössner Company was sole distributor in Germany for pistons of an American manufacturer. 1994 the Wössner Company starts producing on their own high performance forged pistons.
His motto “our success originates of the success of our customers” is the reason why the Wössner Company is a successful expert for high performance forged pistons. The expansive development of the company required at the beginning of 2003 an enlargement of our premises of the fourth.
In 2005 Wossner USA Inc. was founded in the USA to be able to serve the high demand about high quality forged pistons. Now distributors in America, Africa and Australia get deliveries from there.
Since 2009 our own forging company (Forging Group Monale) belongs to the Wössner Group. Therefore the Wössner Company has an even higher independence from suppliers. Furthermore very important steps of the forging process can be permanently overseen and monitored and the most important quality management was implemented over the last years, which is a huge improvement.
