A new city in the Series brought with it an unexpected twist in the points. Justin Cooper, who finished third in the main at Nashville, still lies third in the rankings. However, the points gap has tightened and Justin is now just seven points off the Championship lead with two rounds to go. Mitchell Oldenburg, seemed to have the track dialled, but a crash in the main sent him to the back and he took a sixth-place finish.
